Metaconscious healing is possible for you.

Hi, I'm Amanda.
Founder of Ahahmo Integration Coaching
I believe deeply in the power of transformation. Every person has an inner capacity to change their life's direction. This journey to change, however, isn't always easy or straightforward. It demands a significant commitment and willingness to be uncomfortable in order to challenge deeply ingrained emotional, behavioral, and autonomic patterns from our past.
Over the last decade, in my roles as a university educator, mentor, and transformational coach, I've seen energy blocks divert people from their dreams. At the same time, I've witnessed how some individuals overcome these obstacles with resilience and motivation. Their success often stems from their choices in difficult moments, and I began to study that “moment of choice.” What is impacting someone when they are faced with a complex decision at the moment they are making it? I found it to be a very complex answer, and I spent a lot of time doing introspective work as I tried to answer this same question for myself: How can I shift conceptual knowledge to visceral comprehension and then again to aligned action to experience the outcome I ultimately desire? Why is making the best choice for ourselves so hard to do sometimes? Why can I know something is the better option, but then still do the thing that isn’t serving me long-term?
These are the kinds of questions that guided both my research and introspection. I studied resilience, grit, positive intelligence, motivation and procrastination, proactive and reactive models to productivity, and completed a whole coaching program... all to find some definitive answer I could rest on.
Not surprisingly, the answer is complex. I encountered a lot of different ideas and solutions but the overall theme was there were as many solutions as there were problems. There was no one-size-fits-all solution to motivation, productivity, and making the better choice when faced with a tough decision. There is, however, a lot of really high-quality content out there to support individuals with knowledge and expertise to ignite motivation and overcome personal momentary hurdles and reach success. But it started to seem akin to tossing rocks down a hallway. They echo as they tumble, but over time, they merely added to the clutter. Rather than focusing on the rocks, I turned my attention to the hallway itself—its construction, the properties of the air that enabled sound vibrations, and the very environment that let us hear the event of the rocks tumbling in that space. Were there essential qualities here that can help us take a step back and examine our human experience through a more objective lens?
If each individual is able to access the solutions they need within them, then there must be some sort of inner framework or universal construct with which to conceptually organize, right? There had to be a way to zoom out enough to see the bigger picture. This pursuit aligned with my own inner quest toward cultivating greater levels of introspective emotional agency. At the time, I was working on expanding conscious awareness and deeper healing using plant medicine and movement and experiencing some pretty profound personal insight.
This was where I first discovered the concept of the “felt sense.” I was hiking, alone, in the McDowell mountains in Scottsdale, Arizona, on a warm winter day. That day, I happened to be listening to an audiobook read by the author, Peter Levine. The book was about recognizing and overcoming childhood trauma, and when he introduced and described this concept of the felt sense so poetically and beautifully, I stopped on the trail and let the words fall into my cognitive awareness, like little raindrops of clarity. I played that section back several times as I stood there on the mountainside, gazing at the rocky beauty surrounding me, and each listen hit a little differently as I let the concept settle in and expand within my consciousness.
Peter Levine describes the felt sense as a stream flowing through diverse landscapes. This description resonated with me as it really seemed to capture the essence of consciousness. At last, I felt like I had a container within which I could break apart the human experience and create a map to help me connect with an interconnected, absolute truth rooted in reality, not fable or fiction.
Through countless hours of research riding on the back of deep introspection, I managed to segment this 'felt sense' into 13 critical components that define our experiences, all swimming in a sort of bath of implicit energy affecting everything we think, say, and do. With insights from neurobiology, psychology, NLP, Heartmath, energy leadership, and others, I designed a strategy to pinpoint and address the energy blocks limiting our sense of satisfaction in our lives. This framework is essentially a meta-consciousness map, and it ultimately led to my Circular Model of Integrative Coaching methodology.
Navigating our inner world can feel like venturing into unknown territory. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have to have structure. My purpose is to provide an objective roadmap to better understand- and feel empowered to change- our personal realities. This journey requires creativity, an open spirit, a willingness to ask big questions (and be okay with whatever comes up in response), as well as the courage to detach and introspect. It's about moving from implicit knowledge to explicit awareness, a powerful transition that unveils hidden and cognitively influential layers of our psyche.
I have found that psychedelics, even in minimal doses, are effective tools in this exploration. They enhance our awareness, making abstract concepts tangible. This heightened awareness is essential for introspective work and deconstructing our core beliefs. The insights gained through psychedelic journeys have a broad impact, influencing our thoughts, relationships, emotions, and overall life perspective. In order to anchor these insights into action, it is imperative that a consistent integration practice is upheld.
I offer support in guiding individuals to recognize and meta-consciously experience their felt sense in real time, meeting them where they are. My mission is to help integrate these insights, leading to a state of holistic interconnectedness between all of our inner parts.
As a mom of 3 school-aged children, I often felt unacknowledged in the modern psychedelics renaissance. It seems particularly taboo for parents to be utilizing psychedelics as a tool for inner healing and personal growth. But, we’re here. And the work we’re doing has inter-generational potential to heal deep wounds and model authentic living from holism, interconnectedness, and harmony. Our children have a big job ahead of them as they inherit the earth. My hope is that we are raising a generation of individuals who will be smart enough to heal the earth and loving enough to heal each other.
It’s a tall order, though, weaving deep personal insights and philosophical revelation into a daily life filled with making school lunches, the school pick-up line, homework help and bedtime logistics management... in addition to work, household responsibilities, and managing the “mental load” of all of it. It's... a lot.
Plant medicine combined with core integration coaching has profoundly transformed my life. It gave me a canvas to visualize and create my desired life. Starting from understanding that vision to initiating the process and infusing it into my daily life, I witnessed its positive impact on my children and marriage, and my relationship with myself. It fundamentally shifted how I experience every moment.
Here’s the thing. With healing and growth, there’s no destination. It’s about using the powers of awareness, acceptance, and conscious choice to illuminate your position and steer the ship in the direction you want to go, to then return back to the present moment and immerse yourself 100% energetically in the experience of consciousness in the now, trusting and manifesting through total present-moment immersion. This is integration.
Integration looks different for everyone.
Whatever brought you to this moment, neither one of us can know. But I do know that you are supposed to be here, right now, experiencing this moment that you find yourself in. Hey there.
I offer you a meta-consciousness map. An objective and unbiased empty container into which you can pour all of your experiences both explicit and implicit and maybe see, even if just for a moment, what it’s like to be your point of consciousness experiencing the world with open curiosity and a willingness to consider a different way of being.
With love and curiosity,
Amanda
